Announcing the Riverside County Animal Shelter "Flea-Market" Sale

Adopting a pet is one of the most rewarding things you can do. The emotional attachment you get to your dog or cat, knowing that you saved them from certain death is unlike anything else. And it sounds silly, but they know they've been saved, and I think they love you all the more for it. You don't just adopt a pet, you bring home a best friend.

When I found Diesel at the R.C. Animal Shelter, he cried for me through the bars of his kennel. And even though he had that scary pit bull face, it was love at first sight, coupled with a deep sense of responsibility to help. To this day, I have never regretted taking him home. He changed our lives, for sure. I won't lie, some days, it's a trial (for example, this morning, when I found one of my new product prototypes chewed up on the deck in the backyard). But every day, he does something that makes me smile or laugh, and I can't help but think something would be missing without him.

Now, through October 31st, Riverside County Animal Services is having an INCREDIBLE sale on all their dogs and cats- only $40 for a dog, and cats are FREE! Yep, you heard me right, totally free. So, if you've been thinking of growing your family with a new, four-footed member (or two or three), head to any of their four locations. Help RCAS meet their goal of never having to euthanize an animal in Riverside County again, due to overcrowding.
